Job Description*

Key Responsibilities: • UI/UX Design: Design and develop user interfaces for the visualization and interaction with 3D City models, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. • Software Development: Create and implement software solutions for geospatial data management, analysis, and visualization, focusing on performance and scalability. • Tool Development: Develop user-friendly tools for change detection and the comparison of temporal geospatial data, enabling efficient monitoring and updates. • Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure that all user interfaces and software solutions are compatible across various platforms and devices, with responsive design principles. • Performance Optimization: Optimize software to handle large and complex geospatial datasets efficiently, ensuring smooth and fast interactions for users. • Collaboration: Work closely with GIS analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand user needs, and translate them into functional software solutions. • User Testing: Conduct user testing sessions to gather feedback, iterate on designs, and improve the user experience based on real-world usage. • Documentation: Maintain and update comprehensive software documentation, including design specs, user guides, and technical manuals. • Technology Monitoring: Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in GIS, 3D visualization, and UI/UX development, and integrate these into ongoing projects. Required Skills: • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in languages relevant to GIS and UI development, such as Python, JavaScript, and C++. • Web-Based Mapping Technologies: Proficiency in web-based mapping technologies like Leaflet, Open Layers, and similar frameworks. • 3D Visualization Libraries: Experience with 3D visualization libraries such as Three.js, CesiumJS, or similar tools for rendering complex 3D models. • Geospatial Data Management: Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON). • Database Management: Knowledge of database management systems, particularly those used in GIS, such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS. • UI/UX Design: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, with experience in creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex software systems. • Communication Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration and user feedback.
