Job Description*

We are looking for an experienced and motivated GIS Team Leader to lead our GIS mapping team. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations, ensure high-quality project delivery, guide team members, and coordinate with clients to meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise the GIS team on daily tasks and project execution. • Assign work, monitor progress, and<span jsname="ij8cu" class="ejCXj" id="tsuid_67p-aqulN_OnseMPitmTqQk_7" aria-live="polite" style="overflow: hidden; line-height: 22px; color: rgb(71, 71, 71); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;"> ensure timely project completion. • Review GIS data for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards. • Perform QA/QC of maps, spatial databases, and GIS deliverables. • Coordinate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements. • Train, mentor, and support GIS Engineers and new team members. • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports. • Resolve technical issues related to GIS software and workflows. • Ensure proper documentation and data management. • Maintain productivity, quality standards, and team performance. Required Skills • Strong knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. • Experience in GIS mapping, spatial data analysis, and database management. • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and GIS standards. Qualifications • 3–5+ years of experience in GIS, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role. Preferred Experience • Telecom GIS, Utility Mapping, Cadastral Mapping, or LIDAR projects. • Experience with project planning, reporting, and client coordination.
