Budget for the candidates having relevant work experience and the required academic qualification: As per Experience and qualifications, open for negotiations Job Summary: Futuresafe Technologies, having a long-term agreement with US-based SiteRecon Inc, requires Jr. Cartographer (GIS) for the night shift. To learn more about the team &amp; our origin story - https://order.siterecon.ai/about-us To learn more about what we do for our customers - https://order.siterecon.ai Roles &amp; Responsibilities • Create, edit, and update digital maps and spatial data using QGIS. • Perform digitization of geographic features from satellite imagery, aerial photography, and other data sources. • Ensure accuracy and precision in map creation, maintaining high-quality standards. • Collaborate with team members to integrate geospatial data for various projects and reports. • Perform data conversion and analysis, transforming paper maps into digital formats. • Develop, maintain, and optimize geodatabases for efficient data management. • Troubleshoot and resolve GIS-related issues, ensuring smooth workflow. • Stay updated with advancements in GIS technologies and incorporate them into the work process. • Flexibility to adapt and manage within a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. • History of teamwork and willingness to support the team to get the job done. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Geography, Cartography, GIS, or related field will be preferred) • Basic experience in GIS mapping and digitization, with strong proficiency in ArcGIS/QGIS. • Proven experience in digitizing geographic features and working with georeferenced imagery. • Familiarity with GIS data formats and data management. • Experience with spatial analysis, map projections, and coordinate systems. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cartographic work. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. <o:p></o:p>
